Lecturer: Cynthia Chung
Bio: Cynthia is Editor and Co-Founder of the Rising Tide Foundation and is a writer for the Strategic Culture Foundation. She is a classically trained pianist with experience leading choral works and holds a BSC in Molecular Genetics.

Title: How Tragedy Can Heal Society: The Oresteia as Political Therapy
Lecturer: Dr. Nicolai Petro
Bio:  Dr. Petro is the Silvia-Chandley Professor of Peace Studies and Nonviolence (2017-2019) and Professor of Political Science at the University of Rhode Island, in the United States. He also served as the US State Department‘s special assistant for policy on the Soviet Union in the early 1990s and is currently a Member of the Board at the Simone Weil Center and the American Committee for U.S.-Russian Accord.

2nd Movement: The Renaissance Emerges

Lecturer: Nancy Spannaus
Bio: Nancy is the President and founder of American System Now and author of the recently published Hamilton vs Wall Street and the 1977 book “The Political-Economy of the American Revolution”

Lecturer: Matthew Ehret
Bio: Matthew is a co-founder of the Rising Tide Foundation, Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Patriot Review and Senior Fellow of the American University in Moscow. He is a BRI Expert on Tactical Talk and a writer for the Strategic Culture Foundation.

Lecturer: Sam Labrier
Bio: Sam has a degree in History from Concordia University and obtained his engineering degree from Ryerson University in Toronto. He has worked in the fields of nuclear engineering, electrical power engineering, and optical biophysics.

Title: Benjamin Franklin’s Stroke of Genius and the Rise of the American System
Lecturer: Anton Chaitkin
Bio: Anton is a researcher, historian and activist who has published several best seller books on US history and politics including Treason in America: From Aaron Burr to Averell Harriman and the Unauthorized Biography of George Bush. Most recently he has published volume one of Who We Are: America’s Struggle for Universal Progress (1750s-1850s).

Bio: Martin Sieff is Adjunct Professor of Transnational Threats at Bay Atlantic University and a senior fellow of the Global Policy Institute and the American University in Moscow. He is the author of seven books including “Cycles of Change: the patterns of US politics from Thomas Jefferson to Barack Obama‘ – and “Gathering Storm: The Three Great Eras of US History and Coming Crisis that Will Lead to the Fourth”

Title: The Dream of an African Renaissance: Cheikh Anta Diop’s Grand Design
Lecturer: Nicholas Jones
Bio: Nicholas is a professional dancer with La Grande Ballet de Montreal who has performed around the world and recently founded the Artists Alliance for Africa as a non-profit devoted to bringing classical artistic training to children in Kenya with the goal of establishing a full academy in Africa.

Bio: Dave Wang is Manager of Hollis Library and Adjunct Professor of St. Johns University. Prof. Wang has published over twenty groundbreaking articles on the topic of Chinese influences on the founding fathers of America including the new book ‘China and the Founding of the United States: The Influence of Traditional Chinese Civilization’ published by Lexington Books this summer. Lecturer: Jeffrey Steinberg
Bio: Jeffrey Steinberg is Executive Vice President of PTB Global Advisors, a consulting firm with clients across Asia.  He is an adjunct professor at Frederick College and Florida Gulf Coast University, where he teaches courses on US national security, the US Constitution, Modern China, and Russian-American relations.  He was a senior editor and counterintelligence director for Executive Intelligence Review.

Lecturer: Gerald Therrien
Bio: Gerald is a historian and author of a four volume series on Canadian History entitled ‘Canadian History Unveiled’ and has lectured on topics ranging from poetry, ancient Athenian culture, the renaissance and the Haitian revolution. He also serves as advisor to the Rising Tide Foundation.
