Last Sunday, Cynthia Chung delivered a remarkable presentation on the life, mind, and political struggle of the great writer, Christian polemicist and Platonist C.S. Lewis by plunging into the first volume of his “space trilogy” which can be viewed here.
In this first of two presentations, Cynthia contrasted Lewis’ moral view of the universe, the creator, and humankind with the misanthropic view of his contemporary and intellectual opponent H.G. Wells who had already gone far to pervert the field of science fiction for decades.
Cynthia’s second lecture will take place Sunday June 12 at 2pm Eastern Time (title: C.S Lewis’ That Hideous Strength: A Tale of Transhumanism, the Occult… and Merlin?!)
